Bhubaneswar: Utkal University in Bhubaneswar is set to organize the Inter-University Sports Meet-2024, scheduled to take place from February 15 to 19.
The preparatory meeting for the event, chaired by Vice-Chancellor Prof Sabita Acharya, discussed ongoing preparations, with over 1,000 students from 38 public and private universities, including the Central University of Odisha, expected to participate.
The competition will cover various sports disciplines, including javelin throw, discus throw, shot put, high jump, long jump, sprints, hurdles, and relay races. Cultural programs will also be part of the event, providing a holistic experience for participants.
