
New Delhi: Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways, has approved a budget of Rs. 626.92 crore for the construction of package-1, covering the Sarli-Huri section of NH-913, famously known as the Frontier Highway, in Arunachal Pradesh.
Taking to social media, Minister Gadkari highlighted the strategic significance of this 35 km project, implemented under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) mode, situated in the Kurung Kumey district. The primary objective is to ensure a smooth and secure traffic flow, establishing year-round connectivity for the villages in the region. He emphasized that this infrastructure development initiative is poised to spark socio-economic growth in the hilly areas of the district.
