Union Minister Chirag Paswan Reviews Preparations for World Food India 2024 at Bharat Mandapam

New Delhi: Union Minister of Food Processing Industries, Chirag Paswan, today visited Bharat Mandapam in the capital to review the preparations for the upcoming World Food India 2024, a mega food event scheduled from September 19-22, 2024. The minister, accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry, representatives from the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), and Invest India, conducted a detailed inspection of the exhibition halls, conference areas, and amenities set to be utilized during the event.

During the visit, Paswan chaired a meeting with the officials and organizers, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency to ensure the event’s success. He highlighted the significance of the event in positioning India as a key player in the global food processing industry.

World Food India is a flagship event organized by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), offering a platform for global stakeholders to explore the latest innovations, technologies, and trends in the food processing sector. The event will include knowledge sessions, panel discussions, and networking opportunities aimed at fostering collaboration and driving the future of the industry.

With state-of-the-art exhibition spaces, specialized pavilions showcasing India’s diverse regional food heritage, and dedicated zones for start-ups and innovators, the event promises to highlight India’s rapidly growing food processing sector and its increasing impact on the global market.
