He asserted that the government, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, is committed to setting an example by cracking down on terrorists through innovative means. Shah emphasized the need for all security agencies to work in a mission mode and ensure a quick and coordinated response.

“The fight against terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir is in its decisive phase,” said Shah. He highlighted that recent incidents indicate that terrorism has been reduced from highly organized acts of violence to a mere proxy war, and stressed the determination to root it out completely.

Amit Shah underscored the importance of seamless coordination among security agencies, identifying vulnerable areas, and addressing their security concerns. Reiterating the Zero Tolerance Policy against Terrorism, Shah stated that the government will leave no stone unturned in eradicating terrorism from Jammu and Kashmir.

Shah noted the positive results of the government’s efforts in the Kashmir Valley, with a significant reduction in terror-related incidents. He pointed out that the improvement in the law-and-order situation is reflected in the record flow of tourists to the valley. The Home Minister also commended the security agencies and the J&K administration for the successful conduct of the recent Lok Sabha elections, which witnessed a record voter turnout in Jammu and Kashmir.
