Ahmedabad: In a significant move towards fostering comprehensive development, Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah, inaugurated various developmental projects in Ahmedabad today. The event marked the commencement of projects totaling Rs 1950 crore, reinforcing the commitment to transformative initiatives in the city.

Addressing the gathering, Shri Amit Shah highlighted the substantial progress achieved under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. He emphasized the people-centric and all-encompassing development model initiated in Gujarat since 2001, which has become a guiding principle for the entire nation.

“The development journey started by Prime Minister Modi is continuously on. Modi ji has provided 1.25 lakh houses to the poor in Gujarat, and now the poor have started living in their homes,” stated Shri Amit Shah.

He credited the Gujarat model of development for shaping a new vision under Prime Minister Modi, garnering trust and support from citizens across the country. Shri Shah noted the comprehensive changes in various fields over the past decade, expressing optimism that India would lead globally in every aspect by 2047.

Highlighting Prime Minister Modi’s proactive approach, Shri Shah mentioned the recent consecration of the idol of Ram Lala in the Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya, a project awaited for nearly 550 years. He outlined the trajectory of the Modi government, focusing on overcoming past shortcomings, laying foundations, and now rapidly constructing grand structures.

Acknowledging the 200th birth anniversary of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati, born in Gujarat, Shri Amit Shah recognized the revered figure’s contributions in restoring Vedas and spearheading movements for patriotism, independence, mother tongue, and Vedas in North India.

During the event, the draw of EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) housing was conducted in both Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad’s Lok Sabha constituencies. Shri Shah revealed that 44 projects, amounting to approximately Rs 891 crore, had been inaugurated, while the groundbreaking ceremony for 26 projects worth Rs 1,058 crore was performed.

The projects encompassed various sectors, including water, railway schemes, pond renovations, drainage pumping stations, common halls, and Anganwadi facilities. Shri Shah applauded the collaborative efforts of Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel, ensuring Gujarat’s sustained momentum in development.

As the nation continues on its trajectory of progress, the inauguration of these projects symbolizes a commitment to comprehensive and inclusive development in Ahmedabad, furthering the vision set by the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
