New Delhi: Today, the Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, was briefed on the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and the United States for International Development/India (USAID/India) on June 14, 2023. The purpose of this agreement is to support Indian Railways in achieving the goal of Mission Net Zero Carbon Emission by 2030.

The MoU establishes a platform for Indian Railways to engage and exchange the latest developments and knowledge within the railway sector.
