UGC Unveils Guidelines to Strengthen University-Industry Linkages for Innovation and Economic Growth

New Delhi: In a significant move to align with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP)-2020, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has released comprehensive guidelines titled “Sustainable and Vibrant University-Industry Linkage System for Indian Universities.” These guidelines are strategically crafted to enhance collaboration between academia and industry, fostering a dynamic ecosystem for research, innovation, and knowledge transfer. The NEP-2020 emphasizes the critical role of robust connections between universities and industries to drive innovation, employability, and economic growth.
