Bhubaneswar: The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has unveiled an upgraded website designed to broaden its reach and improve engagement with a wider audience. Recognizing the growing significance of digital platforms, the new website incorporates advanced features to disseminate regulatory information more effectively.
The revamped website offers comprehensive insights into telecom and broadcasting regulations, policies, laws, statistics, and industry trends in India. These resources are easily accessible to the public, stakeholders, researchers, and international audiences alike.
The new website includes several key features to enhance user experience:
The new website will be hosted on NIC Cloud, with the old website running concurrently for a transition period of three months. Additionally, a chatbot named ‘TARA’ (Telecom Authority Responsive Advisor) has been introduced to assist users in navigating the website and facilitating interactive searches.
These enhanced features aim to foster transparency, accessibility, and greater public engagement with TRAI’s initiatives in the Telecom and Broadcasting sectors. For any inquiries or information, Ms. Archna Ahlawat, Advisor (IT), can be contacted at 011-20907756 or via email at jait@trai.gov.in.
