TRAI Launches Upgraded Website with Enhanced Features for Stakeholder Engagement

Bhubaneswar: The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has unveiled an upgraded website designed to broaden its reach and improve engagement with a wider audience. Recognizing the growing significance of digital platforms, the new website incorporates advanced features to disseminate regulatory information more effectively.

The revamped website offers comprehensive insights into telecom and broadcasting regulations, policies, laws, statistics, and industry trends in India. These resources are easily accessible to the public, stakeholders, researchers, and international audiences alike.

The new website includes several key features to enhance user experience:

  • An intuitive dashboard for better navigation and data visualization.
  • Provision for downloading research data, facilitating in-depth analysis.
  • An interactive data grid view that enhances user engagement.
  • Direct sharing of information via major social media platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Facebook, and X.
  • Online registration for subscribing to TRAI’s latest releases and updates.
  • A brief profile of the TRAI Authority for easy reference.
  • Full compatibility with iOS, Android, and various other platforms.
  • An interactive blog section where registered users can comment and engage.
  • Updates on upcoming events, with online registration available for participation in Open House Discussions.
  • Compliance with accessibility features to ensure inclusivity for all users.
  • A centralized location for tenders and regulatory notices.
  • Consolidated regulations with amendments clearly mentioned in footnotes.

The new website will be hosted on NIC Cloud, with the old website running concurrently for a transition period of three months. Additionally, a chatbot named ‘TARA’ (Telecom Authority Responsive Advisor) has been introduced to assist users in navigating the website and facilitating interactive searches.
