Traffic Advisory Issued for Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik’s Roadshow in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police has released a traffic advisory ahead of Odisha Chief Minister and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president Naveen Patnaik’s second roadshow in Bhubaneswar, scheduled for Monday. The roadshow is part of the Chief Minister’s campaign to seek votes for his party nominees.

The event will commence at Punama Gate Flyover in Palaspalli and conclude at Ekamra Square. The route will take the procession through BDA Colony Square, Sundarpada Hata, Pokhariput Square, Prameya Square, Siripur Chhak, Ganga Nagar Square, and Rajendra Vihar.

To ensure the smooth flow of traffic and the safety of participants, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Commissionerate Police, has announced that vehicular movement will be regulated during the roadshow. According to the advisory, no vehicles will be allowed on the roadshow route from 4:00 PM until the event concludes.

Specifically, traffic will be restricted on the following roads:

  • No vehicles will be permitted from Khandagiri Square towards Jagamara Square.
  • No vehicles will be allowed from Delta Square towards City Women’s College Square.
  • Vehicles approaching from lanes and bylanes along the route from Punama Gate Flyover to Ekamra Square will also be restricted.

The Commissionerate Police has urged residents and commuters to plan their travel accordingly to avoid inconvenience. The public is requested to adhere to the traffic restrictions and cooperate with the authorities to ensure the roadshow proceeds smoothly.
