Timing of night curfew changed in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack

Bhubaneswar: Continuing with the unlock measures, the State government had issued guidelines for the month of October. Though most of the guidelines are same as that of September, however the night curfew timing for Bhubaneswar and Cuttack has been changed.

From October 11 to 20, the timing of night curfew in the twin city will be from 8 pm to 5 am. Whereas the night curfew in other urban areas of the state will be from 10 pm to 5 am. During the night curfew essential services will be allowed.

Considering the festive month, as per the direction of the Union Health Ministry, the state government has asked people to follow COVID appropriate behaviour in public places and not to congregate for the puja celebration.

All types of shops and malls shall remain open across the state from 5 am to 10 pm every day. There will be no weekends shutdown.

All religious festivals, functions shall be celebrated as per order issued on August 9, 2021.
