
Agniveers' Passing Out Parade to be Held at INS Chilka
INS Chilka: The highly anticipated Passing Out Parade (POP) of the third batch of Agniveers is set to take place at INS Chilka on March 15. This event marks the successful culmination of training for approximately 2600 Agniveers, including women, who have undergone rigorous training at the prestigious naval establishment.
Admiral R Hari Kumar, Chief of the Naval Staff, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest and will review the post-sunset POP. Alongside him, Vice Admiral V Srinivas, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Naval Command, will also be in attendance, adding prestige to the ceremony.
The POP will be a momentous occasion for the passing out Agniveers as they celebrate their achievements alongside their proud family members. Furthermore, the presence of esteemed veterans and sports personalities is expected to inspire the new graduates with their remarkable accomplishments.
In addition to witnessing the parade, attendees will have the opportunity to partake in the valedictory function. During this segment, the Chief of Naval Staff will present awards and trophies to various divisions, recognizing their outstanding performance. Moreover, the unveiling of the bilingual trainees’ magazine ‘Ankur’ is set to add another dimension of celebration to the event.
The Agniveers’ Passing Out Parade is not only a significant milestone for the graduates but also a testament to the dedication and commitment of the Indian Navy towards nurturing and honing the skills of its personnel.
