Telangana Airlifts Oxygen from Odisha

Grappling with shortage of oxygen, Telangana government sought the help of the Indian Air Force to airlift oxygen from Odisha. Warplanes were sent to Odisha to procure Oxygen in tankers. This has been done to save three days spent on transportation by road.

Telangana Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar along with the Health Minister personally supervised the dispatch of empty oxygen tanks from Begumpet airport in Hyderabad to Odisha, to procure oxygen.
