
Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Metro Rail Corporation (BMRC) embarked on the survey work for the ambitious Metro Railway project in Bhubaneswar, marking a pivotal moment in the city’s infrastructural development.
The survey work kicked off from Vani Vihar to Sishu Bhawan Square, covering crucial stretches earmarked for the metro project. Led by a specialized team from the Bhubaneswar Metro Rail Corporation, the survey was conducted in collaboration with officials from various key entities including the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA), Bhubaneswar Smart City Limited, TPCODL, GAIL, BSNL, WATCO, and the Commissionerate Traffic Police.
During the survey, the team meticulously assessed the existing infrastructure along the proposed metro station areas, including electricity poles, water pipes, telephone lines, gas pipelines, and other essential utilities.
