
Bhubaneswar: Subroto Bagchi, the chairman of the Orissa Skill Development Authority and the co-founder of Mindtree decide to appear in degree exam at Delhi University after 42 years.
Bagchi had enrolled in DU in 1978 to pursue a degree in Law, but he had to leave his studies midway and look for a job. He had completed five semesters only one semester was left to get a degree. However, now he got a chance to complete his degree as DU is giving an opportunity to its old students to complete their degrees as part of its centenary programme.
Interested people can appear in the “Shatabdi Mauka” examinations to be held in October this year and March next year. As per the latest data provided by DU, more than 8,500 candidates have applied for the exam.
Delhi University will prepare the paper based on the timeline of each candidate and the syllabus prevailing at that time.
