
Subhranshu Senapati hits 277 to take Odisha 1st innings Score to 498
Indore: Odisha middle-order batter Subhranshu Senapati hit a double hundred against host Madhya Pradesh in the second round of Ranji Trophy 2024 to take the first innings score of his team to 498. He forged a 238 run 9th partnership for 9th wicket with debutant Harshit Rathod (60 off 162) after Odisha were reduced to 259/8 in the second day.
Senapati, who was captain of the team till last year, hit 277 runs off 487 balls with the help of 19 fours and 11 sixes. Odisha team were all-out for 498 after they lost two wickets on the third day morning adding 5 runs to overnight score. Senapati who was unbeaten on 277 at stumps on day-2, couldn’t make any addition to his score before being stumped out off the bowling of Kumar Kartikeya Singh. Rathod remained not out on his overnight score 60 as Jayant Behera was the last man to be dismissed for a naught.
