State Government Dissolves State Planning Board

Bhubaneswar:  The Odisha government has decided to dissolve the State Planning Board. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has approved the proposal for the dissolution of this essential planning body.

The State Planning Board has played a vital role in the planning and development process of the state, contributing to various strategic initiatives and developmental programs over the years.

While the dissolution of the board is now official, there are indications that the government may reconstitute the body with a new chairperson and members.
