Startup Mahakhumb 2024 Ignites India’s Innovation Ecosystem

New Delhi: The inaugural Startup Mahakhumb 2024 commenced with grandeur at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from March 18-20, 2024, heralding a new era of collaboration, innovation, and growth within India’s vibrant startup landscape. With the resounding theme of ‘Bharat Innovates,’ the event aspired to catalyze innovation, foster networking, and unlock growth opportunities for startups, investors, incubators, accelerators, and industry leaders across various sectors.

A flagship engagement of the event, the MeitY Startup Hub (MSH) innovation showcase at the MeitY Pavilion emerged as the epicenter of innovation and entrepreneurship. Over 40 groundbreaking startups seized the spotlight, showcasing their cutting-edge innovations and providing a dynamic platform for interactions with industry experts, investors, and potential partners. Attendees were treated to firsthand insights into the creativity, ingenuity, and potential of these emerging startups, enriching the collaborative spirit of the event.

Addressing critical challenges and opportunities within the startup ecosystem, Shri Jeej Vijay, CEO of MeitY Startup Hub (MSH), led a panel discussion on “Funding DeepTech: Venture Capital’s Perspective on Research-Backed Startups.” His expertise illuminated the complexities of venture capital funding, particularly for startups rooted in deep technology and research-driven innovations.

To nurture the growth and development of startups, MeitY Startup Hub hosted a Startup Masterclass tailored to provide invaluable insights, practical knowledge, and networking opportunities aimed at enhancing success in the dynamic startup landscape. Additionally, an exclusive Incubator Masterclass covered essential topics for the success of incubators and startups, including fundraising, mentorship strategies, and building robust startup ecosystems.
