Star Air Launches Flight Services from Jharsuguda to Lucknow, Raipur; IndiGo to Connect Mumbai Soon

Jharsuguda: In a significant boost to regional air connectivity, Star Air has commenced flight services from Jharsuguda to Lucknow and Raipur, enhancing travel options for passengers in western Odisha.

The Jharsuguda-Lucknow service began today, while flights to Raipur will start operating from tomorrow.

Flight Schedule:

  • Jharsuguda-Lucknow: Operates three days a week—Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
    • Departure from Jharsuguda: 4:35 PM → Arrival in Lucknow: 6:55 PM
    • Return flight from Lucknow: 7:25 PM → Arrival in Jharsuguda: 8:45 PM
  • Jharsuguda-Raipur: Operates four days a week—Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
    • Departure from Jharsuguda: 6:35 PM → Arrival in Raipur: 7:25 PM
    • Return flight from Raipur: 7:55 PM → Arrival in Jharsuguda: 8:45 PM

Further Expansion of Air Connectivity

Adding to this development, IndiGo will launch direct flights from Jharsuguda to Mumbai starting March 1, further enhancing connectivity for travelers.

Speaking on the occasion, Veer Surendra Sai Airport Director Sandip Tiwari expressed optimism that these new routes will boost tourism, business travel, and regional economic growth.

The latest expansions mark a step forward in enhancing Jharsuguda’s position as a key aviation hub in Odisha, providing seamless air travel options for passengers.
