
Bhubaneswar: A free oxygen shelter named ‘Amrit Dhara’ has been launched at Trishna Banquet in Patia Big Bazaar with approval from Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
With this facility, Covid patients in need of oxygen can be saved from hypoxia (drop in blood oxygen level) with timely oxygen supply in the shelter until they get a bed in any approved Covid hospital.
Patients can avail the oxygen facility for one to two hours in the presence of doctors and nurses. The shelter will also provide oxygen-rich food, psychological counseling wherever necessary and life-saving ambulance services for hospital transfers.
The oxygen shelter is an initiative of Smile Please, Sparsh Hospital and The Odisha Society of the American Health and Wellness Group (OSA-HWG).
