
Lucknow: The literary world mourns the loss of the iconic poet Munawwar Rana, who has passed away at the age of 71. The celebrated poet had been ailing for an extended period and was receiving medical care at PGI, Lucknow, where he breathed his last. The news of his demise has been confirmed by his son.
Munawwar Rana, known for his profound verses and impactful poetry, had been battling kidney and heart ailments before succumbing to his illness. On January 9, his health took a severe downturn, leading to his admission to the ICU at PGI, Lucknow.
