
Bhubaneswar: Reliance Foundation, in its pursuit of empowering education, has declared the results for the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships 2023-24, extending support to 5,000 talented students across India. The scholarships, designed to be inclusive and diverse, provide selected first-year undergraduate students with grants of up to Rs. 2 lakh and the opportunity to join a robust capacity-building program and an active alumni network.
In the state of Odisha, the Reliance Foundation UG Scholarships 2023-24 have been awarded to 121 students, representing various educational institutions across the state.
With an overwhelming response, over 58,000 students from 5,500+ educational institutions across 35 states and Union Territories applied for the scholarships. The final selection of 5,000 students was made through a rigorous merit-cum-means evaluation process. Among the selected scholars, 75% come from households with an annual income of less than 2.5 lakh rupees, ensuring financial assistance to those who need it the most.

The Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships aim to provide financial support to students from all streams of study, allowing them to pursue their undergraduate studies without the burden of financial constraints. This year’s cohort includes students from various subject streams, including Commerce, Arts, Business/Management, Computer Applications, Science, Medicine, Law, Education, Hospitality, Architecture, Engineering/Technology, and other undergraduate degrees.
As part of its commitment to education, excellence, and innovation, Reliance Foundation continues its efforts to select a diverse and talented group of undergraduate students, unlocking the potential of the youth and contributing to India’s socio-economic development. To date, 23,136 student scholarships have been awarded, with 48% going to girls and 3,001 to students with disabilities.
Strengthening its commitment to education, on the 90th birth anniversary of Reliance’s Founder-Chairman Dhirubhai Ambani in December 2022, Nita Ambani, Reliance Foundation Founder & Chairperson, announced a plan to award 50,000 scholarships over the next decade. The selection of 5,000 scholars for the 2023-24 academic year aligns with Reliance’s ongoing dedication to nurturing students and contributing to the building of India’s future.
