Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra to Traverse Two Odisha Districts

Bhubaneswar: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is set to embark on the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, which will enter Odisha from tomorrow evening, covering two districts in the state.

According to the schedule, the flag handover ceremony will take place at Basjol on the Jharkhand-Odisha border in the evening on February 6. Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to have a night halt at the party’s camp at Rampal in the Panposh area of Sundargarh district.

On February 7, he will commence the Padyatra from Udit Nagar near the SP Office in Rourkela to Panposh Chowk at 9:30 am. A public meeting is slated to take place at 10 am.

Gandhi will have a lunch break at Birsa Munda Ground at Ranibandh. The Yatra will resume at 2 pm, followed by another public meeting. Receptions are planned at Kutra and Bargaon. The Padyatra will continue at 4:30 pm from Bus Stand Chowk to SBI Chowk via Stadium Chowk in Sundergarh district, followed by a public meeting and an evening break. He will halt at Amlipali Ground, Jharsuguda, for the night.

On February 8, the Padyatra will resume at 8 am from the Old Bus Stand at Mahatma Gandhi Chowk in Jharsuguda to Beheramal Kisan Chowk in Jharsuguda town, followed by a public address. A break is scheduled at 12 noon at Madhuban Dhaba in Govindpur area. After having lunch at Kureimal, the Padyatra will resume at 2 pm from Konaktora in Jharsuguda district. It will conclude at Rengalpali in Raigarh on the Odisha-Chhattisgarh border, where a Flag Handover ceremony will be held.
