
Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his appreciation for the sand sculpture of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, skillfully crafted by renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik at the Red Fort in Delhi as part of the Parakram Diwas celebrations.
On the 127th birth anniversary of Netaji, Pattnaik crafted a remarkable 7-foot high sand sculpture, adorned with installations of 500 steel bowls. The artist utilized approximately eight tons of sand to bring this tribute to life.
Expressing his gratitude, Pattnaik stated, “I felt honored when the Prime Minister appreciated the sand art installed by me.”
Padma Shri Sudarsan Pattnaik has been a prominent figure in over 65 international sand art competitions and festivals worldwide, earning several accolades for the country. Through his intricate sand art, he consistently strives to raise awareness on various issues.
