Puri and Cuttack railway stations to get new look

Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the redevelopment project of Puri and Cuttack railway station.

The redeveloped stations will have all the modern amenities providing a world-class experience to the rail passengers.

The central government has sanctioned Rs 303 for the redevelopment project which is estimated to be completed in 36 months.

The redeveloped station will have an environmental and waste management system, comfortable waiting rooms, a dormitory, a food court, dedicated baby feeding room, among other amenities.

There will be different arrival and departure sections to streamline the flow of passengers. Ensuring accessibility for all, the station will be made into a differently-abled friendly.
