Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Inaugurate Infrastructure Projects at Central University of Odisha

 

New Delhi:  Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is set to lay the foundation stone for multiple infrastructure projects, including a new Administrative Building at the Central University of Odisha, during a virtual ceremony on February 20, 2024. The total project cost for these initiatives is estimated at Rs. 129 Crore. The event will be graced by the presence of Cabinet Minister for Education and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, and various other dignitaries.

The virtual inauguration will be conducted via video conference, aligning with the continued emphasis on digital platforms for such ceremonies. Prime Minister Modi is expected to address the significance of these infrastructure projects and their role in enhancing educational facilities and opportunities for students in Odisha.

The event will not only witness the participation of government officials but will also include physical attendance from distinguished guests, including Hon’ble Member of Parliament of Kalahandi Constituency, Shri Basant Kumar Panda, and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Odisha. They will join the program at the Central University of Odisha campus in Sunabeda, providing a local touch to the national initiative.

The Administrative Building is a crucial component of the infrastructure projects and is expected to serve as the administrative hub for the university. This development aligns with the government’s commitment to bolstering education and skill development across the country.

The ceremony, scheduled for 10:30 AM on February 20, 2024, is anticipated to mark a significant milestone in the growth and development of the Central University of Odisha.
