Prime Minister Modi Extends Well Wishes to Injured West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee

New Delhi:  Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his heartfelt wishes for the speedy recovery of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee following an injury she recently sustained at her home.

Taking to social media platform X, the Prime Minister conveyed his sentiments, stating, “I pray for a quick recovery and the best health for Mamata Didi.”

The gesture underscores a rare moment of bipartisan camaraderie, transcending political divides during a time when the country is waiting for the General Election to be declared any time.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was hospitalized on Thursday evening following an accidental slip at her residence in South Kolkata, resulting in an injury to her forehead, as reported by the Trinamool Congress.

 

The Prime Minister’s message of goodwill is expected to resonate across the political landscape, emphasizing the importance of solidarity and compassion, especially during times of adversity.
