
PPresident Droupadi Murmu Marks Two Years in Office with Educational and Cultural Initiatives
New Delhi: In anticipation of the 75th Republic Day, the President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu, is set to address the nation on January 25, 2024. The presidential address will be broadcast at 1900 hrs. on the entire national network of Akashvani and telecast across all channels of Doordarshan in Hindi, followed by the English version. After the Hindi and English broadcasts on Doordarshan, the address will be relayed in regional languages by the respective regional channels of Doordarshan.
For radio listeners, All India Radio (AIR) will broadcast regional language versions from 2130 hrs. onwards on its respective regional networks, allowing citizens across the country to connect with the President’s message in their preferred languages.
This annual address on the eve of Republic Day serves as an opportunity for the President to share reflections, insights, and messages of national importance with the citizens. The broadcast across multiple languages ensures that the diverse population of India can partake in this significant communication from the Head of State.
The 75th Republic Day, which falls on January 26, 2024, marks a historic milestone for the country, symbolizing its journey as a sovereign republic since adopting the Constitution in 1950.
