President of India Welcomes New Ambassadors and High Commissioners

New Delhi: In a distinguished ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan today, the President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu, graciously accepted the credentials of Ambassadors and High Commissioners from five nations, further cementing diplomatic ties between India and these countries.

The esteemed diplomats who presented their credentials are H.E. Mr Elchin Nariman Oglu Huseynli, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan; H.E. Mrs Lebohang Valentine Mochaba, High Commissioner of the Kingdom of Lesotho; H.E. Mr Percy P. Chanda, High Commissioner of the Republic of Zambia; H.E. Ms Kshenuka Dhireni Senewiratne, High Commissioner of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka; H.E. Mrs Aliki Koutsomitopoulou, Ambassador of Greece

This formal ceremony marks the official commencement of their diplomatic duties in India. The acceptance of credentials underscores the commitment to fostering bilateral relationships and strengthening cooperation between India and these nations.
