She arrived in Bhubaneswar from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, and proceeded to Nayagarh, where she offered prayers at the revered Lord Nilamadhab Temple. Later, she attended the foundation day celebration of Bharatiya Biswabasu Shabar Samaj at Kaliapalli, emphasizing the role of tribal heritage in India’s progress.
Speaking at the event, President Murmu highlighted the natural beauty of Nayagarh and its potential as a major tourist destination. She stressed that developing tourism infrastructure in the region would not only attract visitors but also boost local livelihoods.
