President Greets Nation on the Eve of Eid-ul-Fitr

New Delhi: The President of India, Droupadi Murmu, has extended warm greetings to all citizens on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr.

In her heartfelt message, the President conveyed her sincere wishes to all individuals residing in India and abroad, particularly to the Muslim community. She highlighted the significance of Eid-ul-Fitr, which marks the culmination of the fasting and prayer period observed during the holy month of Ramadan. The festival embodies values of love, brotherhood, unity, forgiveness, and charity, fostering a sense of compassion and camaraderie among people.

“Eid is the occasion to extend a helping hand to the less fortunate and share our joy with them. It inspires us to lead lives filled with peace and harmony, working towards the prosperity of our society,” the President remarked.

Droupadi Murmu urged everyone to embrace the spirit of Eid-ul-Fitr by spreading love, kindness, and compassion to all, regardless of differences, thereby enriching the tapestry of our diverse nation.
