
New Delhi: A delegation comprising Assistant Executive Engineers from the Central Public Works Department (CPWD), belonging to the 2022 and 2023 batches, had the privilege of meeting with the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, at Rashtrapati Bhavan today, March 28, 2024.
During the interaction, President Murmu emphasized the crucial role of young engineers in addressing contemporary challenges, particularly those related to climate change and global warming. She underscored the importance of adopting energy-efficient solutions in infrastructure development, emphasizing the need for sustainability and environmental friendliness in the creation of buildings, roads, and other infrastructure projects.
