PM Modi To Visit Odisha and West Bengal To Assess Cyclone Yaas Damage

Bhubaneswar: To assess the damage caused by Cyclone Yaas, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Odisha and West Bengal on May 28.

He would reach Bhubaneswar and hold a review meeting before going for an aerial survey. He is also likely to hold a review meeting in West Bengal.

Meanwhile, the Odisha government has asked the authorities to make a preliminary assessment of the damage caused by the cyclone. The report would be submitted on May 28.

On Thursday afternoon, chief minister Naveen Patnaik made an aerial survey of the affected areas to assess the damage caused by Cyclone Yaas in Odisha.
