
Delaware: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with U.S. President Joseph Biden at his residence in Wilmington, Delaware, on the sidelines of the Quad Summit. This meeting, hosted at President Biden’s home, underscores the deepening ties between India and the United States.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Modi conveyed his appreciation for President Biden’s significant contributions to strengthening the India-U.S. partnership. He fondly recalled his State visit to the U.S. in June 2023 and President Biden’s subsequent visit to India for the G-20 Leaders’ Summit in September 2023, both of which had infused new energy and depth into bilateral relations.
The Prime Minister highlighted that the India-U.S. relationship has evolved into a comprehensive global strategic partnership, driven by shared democratic values, common interests, and vibrant people-to-people ties. He noted that the bond between the two nations now encompasses all areas of human endeavor.
The leaders discussed ways to further enhance cooperation in key areas of mutual interest, while also exchanging views on global and regional matters, particularly in the Indo-Pacific region. Both expressed confidence in the resilience of the India-U.S. relationship and its growing significance on the world stage.
