  • Enhanced Operations: The new headquarters in Rayagada will streamline railway operations across Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, and surrounding regions.
  • Sustainability: The building will incorporate rainwater harvesting systems, emphasizing environmental responsibility.
  • Economic Impact: Improved transport links and enhanced connectivity with local industries aim to foster economic growth and create employment opportunities.

The establishment of the Rayagada Railway Division is expected to transform the tribal belt of South Odisha, providing a significant boost to local industries and improving the lives of the region’s communities.

A Broader Vision for Connectivity

In addition to the Rayagada project, Prime Minister Modi also inaugurated the Jammu Railway Division and Charlapalli Terminal Station in Telangana. These initiatives aim to enhance regional economic development, promote tourism, and strengthen the nation’s infrastructure network.
