PM Modi Holds Telephone Conversation with President Putin, Reaffirms Commitment to Strengthen Indo-Russian Ties

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in a telephone conversation today with His Excellency Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, extending warm congratulations on his re-election and conveying heartfelt wishes for the continued peace, progress, and prosperity of the Russian people.

During the conversation, both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to further enhancing the Special & Privileged Strategic Partnership between India and Russia in the years ahead. Acknowledging the historical ties and deep-rooted friendship between the two nations, they underscored the importance of concerted efforts to deepen cooperation across various sectors.

The leaders conducted a comprehensive review of the progress made in bilateral cooperation and exchanged views on a range of regional and global issues of mutual interest. They emphasized the significance of sustained dialogue and collaboration in addressing shared challenges and advancing common goals.
