
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in a telephone conversation today with Alexander De Croo, the Prime Minister of Belgium, congratulating him on the successful hosting of the First Nuclear Energy Summit in Brussels.
During the call, both leaders took stock of the robust relations between India and Belgium, emphasizing the need to further fortify the bilateral partnership across various sectors. Discussions encompassed avenues for enhancing collaboration in areas such as trade, investment, clean technologies, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, green hydrogen, IT, defence, and ports, among others.
Furthermore, Prime Ministers Modi and De Croo reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the India-EU Strategic Partnership, particularly under Belgium’s ongoing Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
