PM Modi Engages with Global Thinkers, Scientists, and Astronauts at NXT Conclave

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met and interacted with leading global experts from various fields at the NXT Conclave, held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, today. The Prime Minister engaged in insightful discussions with distinguished personalities in the fields of science, technology, international relations, innovation, and space exploration.

Among the dignitaries PM Modi met were Carlos Montes, Prof. Jonathan Fleming, Dr. Ann Liebert, Prof. Vesselin Popovski, Dr. Brian Greene, Alec Ross, Oleg Artemyev, and Mike Massimino. Expressing his appreciation for their contributions, the Prime Minister highlighted their achievements and their relevance to India’s technological and scientific progress.

In a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter), PM Modi shared his thoughts on his interactions with each of the dignitaries:

PM Modi praised Carlos Montes for his contributions to social innovation and acknowledged his appreciation for India’s advancements in digital technology and FinTech. He also lauded Alec Ross, a renowned author and thinker, for his insights into innovation and learning.

During his discussion with Prof. Jonathan Fleming from the MIT Sloan School of Management, PM Modi admired his work in life sciences and his dedication to mentoring young talent. He also commended Dr. Ann Liebert for her groundbreaking research in treating Parkinson’s disease, which is expected to improve the quality of life for many in the future.

PM Modi noted Prof. Vesselin Popovski’s contributions to international relations and geopolitics, emphasizing their significance in today’s rapidly evolving world. He also had an engaging conversation with Dr. Brian Greene, a globally recognized academic in physics and mathematics, acknowledging his influence on shaping academic discourse.

PM Modi expressed his admiration for Russian cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev, acknowledging his pioneering space expeditions and their impact on inspiring future generations of scientists and astronauts. Similarly, he appreciated former NASA astronaut Mike Massimino for his efforts in making space exploration popular among the youth and promoting learning and innovation.

The NXT Conclave served as a platform for high-level discussions on emerging technologies, scientific research, and global advancements, reinforcing India’s role in fostering international collaborations in these fields.
