Piyush Goyal Encourages Youth to Prioritize Quality and Sustainability at Gunvatta Gurukul Convocation Ceremony

 

New Delhi:  In an inspiring address to students at the Convocation Ceremony of the first batch of the ‘Gunvatta Gurukul Program’ organized by the Quality Council of India (QCI), Union Minister Shri Piyush Goyal emphasized the critical importance of quality and sustainability. The ceremony marked the graduation of 87 bright young professionals who successfully completed the program, aligning with the vision of preparing the youth to play a pivotal role in India’s journey towards becoming a developed nation by 2047.

Shri Goyal, who holds key portfolios including Commerce & Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, and Textiles, highlighted the significance of quality and sustainability in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for India. He asserted that these two factors would define the nation’s progress and transformation into a developed nation over the next two decades.

Expressing confidence in the Prime Minister’s commitment to providing a high quality of living to citizens in his third term, Shri Goyal commended the efforts made during the second term towards ensuring ease of living for the people. He urged the graduating students to contribute to building a young and confident ecosystem that values ‘Zero Effect and Zero Defect’.

The Minister underscored that environmental respect, coupled with a focus on quality and sustainability, is indispensable for India to achieve the ‘golden era’ it once enjoyed. He encouraged the youth to embrace these values and contribute towards creating a developed and prosperous India.

The Gunvatta Gurukul Program, initiated by QCI, aims to empower young minds by preparing them for success in the dynamic job market and providing insights into governance and public policies. The first batch, comprising 87 graduates, received recognition from QCI for their dedication and achievements.

As the success of the inaugural batch sets a positive precedent, the program is set to welcome its second batch, commencing on February 9, 2024. With its innovative approach and unwavering commitment to youth empowerment, Gunvatta Gurukul is poised to play a significant role in shaping India’s future, aligning with the national vision of a Developed India by 2047.
