PCIM&H Achieves BIS Integrated Management System Certifications, Boosting Global Recognition for Indian Medicine & Homeopathy

New Delhi: The Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine & Homoeopathy (PCIM&H) has been awarded the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Integrated Management System (IMS) Certifications. This achievement marks a critical step toward enhancing global recognition and setting new standards of excellence in Indian Medicine & Homeopathy.

PCIM&H has received three prestigious certifications: IS/ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management System (QMS), IS/ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Management System (EMS), and IS/ISO 45001:2018 for Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSMS). These certifications affirm the organization’s commitment to upholding global standards of quality, environmental sustainability, and workplace safety.

Dr. Raman Mohan Singh, Director of PCIM&H, emphasized the importance of the certifications, stating, “This certification system will help PCIM&H to enhance operational efficiency and meet global quality standards. The IMS certification system ensures international acceptance of the pharmacopoeia standards developed by PCIM&H for Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, and Homeopathy (ASU&H) drugs.”

The certifications from BIS reflect PCIM&H’s dedication to delivering high-quality services and products. The Quality Management System certification underscores the organization’s ability to consistently meet and exceed customer expectations. The Environmental Management System certification highlights its commitment to reducing environmental impact and promoting sustainable practices. Additionally, the Occupational Health & Safety Management System certification reinforces its focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
