Pandian visits Ganjam and Reviews College Transformations projects

Bhubaneswar: In line with the directives of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Chairman of 5T and Nabin Odisha, Kartik Pandian undertook a visit to Ganjam District to oversee the ongoing college transformation projects and engage with students.

Participating in the Nua-O Program organized in Berhampur, Kartik Pandian interacted with students from various colleges in Ganjam. The Nua-O program serves as a platform for youth to exhibit their talents and contributes to their holistic development beyond academic achievements.

During the interaction, Pandian encouraged students to strive for success with confidence, aiming for high aspirations. He shared inspiring stories of accomplished individuals from Ganjam district, including Ravi Kumar S (CEO in Cognizant technologies, New York), Dr Kailash Chandra Sahu (NASA scientist), Kota Harinarayana (architect of the Tejas aircraft), Naga Bhushana Acharya (Senior scientist at Bhabha Atomic Research Center), and K Ravi Kumar (Commonwealth Games Gold medalist). Kartik Pandian emphasized that many such successful figures have emerged from Ganjam district, all of whom were once students in local colleges. He expressed confidence in the potential of all students to achieve great heights.

Pandian stressed the importance of physical fitness and recommended daily meditation to enhance alertness and productivity. He urged students to show respect to parents and teachers, emphasizing the value of their guidance in life and careers.

Later, Kartik Pandian conducted a comprehensive review of the progress of college transformation projects in Ganjam. An allocation of Rs 92 crores has been sanctioned for 156 colleges to facilitate the development of smart classrooms, e-libraries, science labs, and more. Pandian directed the administration to ensure the timely completion of all college projects, setting a target for February.
