OSRTC to resume all women bus service between BBSR-Cuttack

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) is soon to resume its all-women bus service between Bhubaneswar and Cuttack to provide safe transport facilities to women and girl students of the twin cities.

As per reports, the Commerce and Transport Department has asked the OSRTC to take steps in this regard.

After the Nirbhaya incident of Delhi, OSRTC started an all women special bus service between twin cities in 2013. The service was later suspended.

Women representative have been demanding to restart the service and have approached the Chief Minister regarding this.
