Bhubaneswar: The final semester examinations of Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) students in Odisha will be conducted online by July-August this year.
The students can appear in the exams from their homes or at their nearest degree colleges.
Higher education minister Arun Kumar Sahoo announced this on Friday after a virtual meeting with vice-chancellors.
“In view of the current Covid situation, the VCs have decided to conduct the exams online. The college administrations have been asked to take necessary steps to ensure smooth conduct of the examinations,” said Sahoo.
The dates for conducting the examinations will be decided by authorities of the universities and autonomous colleges.
