
Bhubaneswar: The results of the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) 2026 were declared on Sunday, with more than 92,000 candidates appearing for the state-level entrance test conducted for admission to various technical and professional courses across Odisha.
The results were announced by Industries, Skill Development and Technical Education Minister Sampad Chandra Swain, who also unveiled the official results booklet at a programme held in Bhubaneswar.
OJEE 2026 was conducted for admission to 16 technical and professional programmes, including B.Pharm, MBA, MCA, Integrated MBA, M.Tech, M.Pharm, M.Arch, M.Plan, B.CAT and several lateral entry and nursing courses for the 2026-27 academic session. Admissions through the examination will be made to government and private universities and educational institutions across the state.
The examination was conducted in a computer-based mode at 99 centres located across all 30 districts of Odisha as well as in Kolkata, Patna and Ranchi. This year, 1,03,434 candidates registered for the examination, of whom 92,628 appeared, recording an attendance rate of 89.55 per cent.
According to OJEE authorities, 62,691 candidates from streams other than nursing courses have been assigned ranks based on their performance in the examination. Candidates can download their rank cards from the official OJEE website.
Among the toppers, Shubhransu Sutar secured the first rank in B.Pharm, while Arun Kumar Jena topped the LE-Tech (Diploma) category and Suraj Kumar Jha emerged as the topper in LE-Tech (B.Sc.). Debashish Behera secured the top rank in LE-Pharm.
In management and computer application courses, Tribikram Pradhan topped the MBA examination, while Naren Patra secured the first position in MCA/M.Sc. (Computer Science). Srimayee Panigrahi emerged as the topper in Integrated MBA.
In specialised courses, Dev Mandal secured the top rank in B.CAT, Shyamsundar Behera topped M.Pharm, Sai Aarya Anushka Nayak secured the first position in M.Arch and Sagarika Acharya emerged as the topper in M.Plan. Swagat Kumar Behura topped the M.Tech programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Sampad Chandra Swain congratulated the successful candidates and wished them success in their academic pursuits. He also highlighted the importance of technical and professional education in building a skilled workforce for the state’s development.
Commissioner-cum-Secretary of the Skill Development and Technical Education Department Bhupendra Singh Poonia, OJEE Chairman Deba Prakash Satapathy, OJEE Secretary Ranjan Kumar Jena, Additional Secretary Biswaranjan Rath and other senior officials were present during the announcement of the results.
