
Bhubaneswar: In a remarkable display of skill and determination, Odisha’s wheelchair fencers showcased their expertise at the National Wheelchair Fencing Championship held in Tamil Nadu, emerging as one of the standout performers in the tournament.
A total of 13 fencers, the largest contingent from Odisha to date, participated in the championship, where they clinched an impressive tally of 28 medals. Among these medals were 12 gold, 9 silver, and 7 bronze, highlighting the exceptional talent and dedication of the state’s wheelchair fencers.
