
Bhubaneswar: In a significant recognition of its commitment to sports infrastructure development, the Department of Sports and Youth Services (DSYS) in Odisha has been honored with the prestigious SKOCH Award 2023 in the Gold Category for its outstanding efforts in Urban Sports Infrastructure Development.
The award was presented at the SKOCH Summit, acknowledging DSYS’s impactful initiatives in transforming and enhancing sports infrastructure in urban areas of the state. The Gold Category recognition highlights the department’s exemplary work in creating state-of-the-art facilities that contribute to the promotion of sports and physical activity among the youth.
Joint Secretary of DSYS, Ranjit Parida, accompanied by Chief Engineer Building, had received the award on behalf of the department.
