The Higher Education Department, which had earlier advanced the admission process, confirmed that classes have begun as per the academic calendar.

According to official data, a total of 1,60,255 students have already enrolled in undergraduate programmes, while 18,428 students have taken admission into postgraduate courses by the end of the third round of Phase-I admissions.

The department has ensured that the entire Phase-I spot admission process for undergraduate programmes will be concluded by July 16, while the final phase of postgraduate admissions is scheduled to be completed by July 25.
