Odisha Travel Bazaar 2025 Set to Showcase State’s Tourism Potential

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government, in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), is set to host the 6th edition of the Odisha Travel Bazaar from February 24 to 27. The event aims to promote Odisha as a premier tourism destination by highlighting its cultural heritage, scenic landscapes, and diverse travel experiences.

Speaking ahead of the event, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida emphasized the state’s growing reputation as a top travel destination, known for its pristine beaches, eco-tourism hotspots, and adventure tourism opportunities. Commissioner-cum-Secretary of the Tourism Department, Balwant Singh, elaborated on Odisha’s tourism policies and strategic vision, which focus on expanding the sector and attracting more visitors from across the world.

A key highlight of Odisha Travel Bazaar 2025 is the large-scale buyer-seller meet, bringing together national and international travel operators, destination management companies (DMCs), and tourism stakeholders. The event, to be held at Mayfair Convention and Swosti Premium in Bhubaneswar, will facilitate discussions on business collaborations, new tourism projects, and market expansion opportunities for Odisha’s travel industry.

The event will witness participation from over 100 domestic tour operators representing 30 cities across India, along with 30 international tour operators from 17 countries, including Australia, the UK, Germany, Belgium, South Africa, and Singapore. A significant component of the program will be business-to-business (B2B) meetings, where 70 tourism service providers from Odisha will interact with travel operators to promote their offerings.

To provide firsthand experience of Odisha’s rich tourism landscape, familiarization tours have been planned to major destinations such as Bhitarkanika, Raghurajpur, Puri-Konark, and the Diamond Triangle. Over 3,000 pre-scheduled meetings, along with business-to-government (B2G) discussions and adventure tourism workshops, will take place throughout the event.

With Odisha’s unique cultural and natural attractions gaining recognition on the global tourism map, the Odisha Travel Bazaar 2025 is expected to serve as a significant platform for expanding the state’s presence in domestic and international travel markets. By hosting this flagship event, the Odisha government reaffirms its commitment to making the state a world-class tourism hub and driving economic growth through the sector.
