
Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government is set to unveil the Subhadra Yojana, a significant financial assistance scheme, on September 17 at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar. The program will be graced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who will distribute Subhadra cards to the first batch of beneficiaries.
A crucial meeting of the Subhadra Yojana State Level Management Committee was convened to review the progress and ensure the smooth execution of the program. Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja chaired the meeting, with Principal Secretary of the Women and Child Development Department, Shubha Sharma, presenting an update on the preparations.
The discussions covered various aspects including venue setup, parking arrangements, traffic management, transportation logistics, pass distribution, and media coordination. Chief Secretary Ahuja stressed the importance of coordination among all sub-committees to ensure the successful execution of the state-level event.
The application process for Subhadra Yojana will commence on September 4, with forms being collected from applicants. The meeting confirmed that all necessary measures are in place to facilitate a seamless application process.
The launch event on September 17 will also mark the disbursement of the first installment of financial assistance to beneficiaries, representing a significant step forward in the implementation of the Subhadra Yojana.
