
Bhubaneswar: The 36th Dashboard Review Meeting of the Housing & Urban Development Department was held today under the chairpersonship of Usha Padhee, Principal Secretary, Housing & Urban Development Department, Government of Odisha, to assess the progress of key urban infrastructure initiatives across the state.
Held at the Department’s Conference Hall, the review meeting focused on OUIDF-assisted projects and the ongoing LED Public Street Lighting programme being implemented across 115 Urban Local Bodies (ULBs).
During the meeting, Padhee emphasized the need for continuous monitoring, proactive identification of gaps, and timely resolution of bottlenecks to ensure effective and sustainable execution of urban development projects. She underscored the importance of these efforts in improving urban service delivery, enhancing citizen experience, and achieving the larger goal of Sustainable Urban Development in Odisha.
Field-level feedback and performance data were reviewed to highlight best practices and identify areas requiring focused intervention. Padhee also called for strengthened inter-agency coordination and the promotion of innovation to drive efficiency and sustainability in project outcomes.
